1) I think that the quote means to like never allow yourself into a group where you have no voice, or in a group that holds or seizies your rights, and power. Also to not join a group tthat only want you to use you just like the nazis. In elementary school I saw this one group of kids that hanged around this shy kid so they let him in thier "group". And then I was playing tag and see the shy kid and the other kids and they were making him steal from one of the teachers and he said it wasn't right but he grop threanted him that they would kick him out and he did steal the box of candy but he got introuble and the other kids made him take the blame. Also that happened to my brother once. He joined a group of friends but then when he had soomething they wanted they took it away from him and he didn't say anything intil he decided thta he shouldn't be friends with those kids.
2) He changes drastictly, because at first he was the class loser. And when he sat at the same lunch table with other people, they'd move. When he joined the wave he thought this was hisw only chance to show how he really is. since Mr.Ross used him as an example, like when they were first learning how sit and answer questions. And since everyone learn a lesson in the end of the wave. they realized that thier leader was the worst leader, but i tink that they won't forget how to treat each other equally as the wave. Robert probably thought it was over for him once the wave ended because that was the thin g he mostly relied on. I don't think that he will bethe loser again since most of the school expirienced the wave.
3) A: A facist part in the wave is when the jewish kid got beat up by a wave member since he was a non-wav member, and after he beat up the jewish kid, who was Duetsh, Brian the wave member, called him a durty jew. Also in the begining of the wave, the wave was optional and if you said you didn't want to join the wave members would respect that. When the wave grew the wave members were being aggressive and racist to the non-wave members. Like the anonymous kid that wrote that letter to Laurie so it could be published.
B: Well in 1860 th civil war was held and that was facism because the confederate president Robert E. Lee belived that African amereicans shouldn't be equal as white people. That they should be slaves and nothing more. But since the union won the war america got fairly equal.
4) Mob Mentality:
I think one way to aoid it is to observe it, to see if you want to join that "mob". And if you think there are thing that you don't like don't join that group. If you caught your self in the ob do what ever you can to get out fast or the grup will have you in peer pressure and it'll be really hard to get out then. One way to avoind mob metality is to ignore what ever it is saying, because if you get caught in mob mentality it probably will make you do anything, thing that you probably regret for the rest of your life. But the main thing to aviod it is to join a group that you can trust that aren't doing anything bad.

FHP Reflection:
FHP Reflection
Purpose: Well the family history helped us learn more about our families and what events they had experienced in the past. Also how to managed several dates . It was a pretty enjoyable project because we got to interview family relatives. And we get to find out that their life wasn't really boring as I thought it would be. Like my family friend he experienced the Vietnam war, and how he actually fought in the front line of the war.
First hand out was the pre-project plan. That was for us so we could already narrow our choice out than just say that the family member couldn't t do the interview and then you would be stuck in the middle of the project. Then was the project plan and it was pretty much the same as the project pre-plan. Then we had to was when we chose the historical event that they have been and do a historical narrative. Then once we did the narrative we had to a personal narrative. Then was the interview write-up. Then there were 2 ways to present this project. It was either the scrapbook way or the news article. I did the news article. Then on the night we presented we had to stand by our project and answer any questions.
What I learned : I learned about how the Vietnam war started, who started it how it ended. I didn't think my family was that interesting but this project helped me explore the culture and the past that my family experienced. The skills I learned were on how to use a graphic organizer. How to analyzes data from the Internet(not using Wikipedia). How to interview people which was pretty cool because I never interviewed anybody before. And what was cool was that I learned how to bind and scan pictures. I learned how to organize lots of due dates so I could finish .
Reflection: I enjoyed this project because it helped me learn more about my family. I never you that m family was that interesting. What I could of done was that I should of got more pictures to make a scrap book. Next time I think I should procrastinate less and get more time to work on the project. I would also try to get more artifacts to make my project more interesting. But overall this project was a really fun project to do.

Wave OP #5:
2) On pg 128 "I feel alone all of the sudden," David said as they walked through the trees of the park. " It's like all my friends are part of a crazy movement and I'm an outcast because I refuse to be exactly like them." This part is very decriptive becuase it says how controlling the wave is and it tells me that one of the wave's strength is peer pressure.
3) I wonder how all the wave members felt when they just got seated in the auditorium?

Wave OP #4:
1) I think hes feeling unsecure because there is a high risk that he might get in trouble. He feels wired since robert asked to be his bodygaurd. He also feels upset that Laurie not only not joined the wave but now is attacking it socially. By putting out copies of the grapevine that work against the wave to shut it down. Also all those parents that are complaining to principle owens.
2) On pg. 95 , Laurie stopped and saw brad coming toward her. " Oh, hi, laurie I didn't reconize you from behind," he said. Then he did the wave salute. Laurie just stood there with out moving. Brad frowned. " Come on Laurie just give me the salute and you can go up". I think this is going to far with the wave because you should be able to go up in the stands without doing a salute.
3) Do you think laurie will suceed to take down the wave through the grapevine and why?

Wave OP #3
1) One clue is that when Mr.Owen cleed ben ross to his officebecause the wave was only meant for his class and to last a short period of time. Also when there is going to be a "wave pep rally" for the football and he had no idea, also when the most of the kids in the high school salute each other and he doesnt even know how many kids joined.
2) PG 78: The principle removed his pipe from between his lips and tapped it on the ashtray." I must say it's unusual. Ben are you surethat the students are not falling behind?" I like that sentence because in some movies the character with the pipe did exactly what Mr. Owen did.
3) Why do you think Laurie is not as entusiastic as the other students about the wave?

Wave: 2# assignment
1) The wave and it's motto started to spread because of david. He thought since it got the history class together it could get the football team together. So when brian got into a fight with deutsch he thought it was the right time to mention the wave. All of the team members got exicited because it's just wat they needed to win their football games.
2) The line I think is interesting is on pg. 38, 3rd paragraph."He stepped out of the stalland was heading to the sinks when he saw some one and stopped abruptly. The bathroom had emptied out anf only one person was left, Robert. He was standing in front of the mirror, tucking in his shirt unaware that he wasn't alone. As david watched the class loser straightend some of the hair on his headand stared at his reflection. Then snappedto attention and his lips moved silently, as if he was still in Mr. Ross's class answering questions." I think the wave helped him realize hes not a loser.
3) Why do you think Laurie's mother oposses the wave other than it's militaryistics?
