Tis #6 by Frank McCourt

Quote #1: That same year Alberta and I bought the Brownstone house where we' be tenants on the Parlor floor.

Significance #1: For once in Franks life it works the way he wanted to since he already started a Family. I thought that Alberta left him for good but it turns out that in the end they got married had a child and bought a house.

Character Judgment #1: I think that Frank is really getting all of his desires and most of problems are gone he hasn't had a drink in a while. I think that Frank is really tring now because he has something to work for, now that he he has a family everything will be changed for him.

Question #1: Do you think Frank will go back to drinking if he has any more problems?

Quote #2: In January 1985 my brother Alphie called to say there was sad news from our cousins in Belfast, that our father Malachy McCourt had died early that morning at the Royal Victoria Hospital. I didn't know why Alphie used the word sad .

Significance #2: I guess Frank doesn't really card about his father since his dad left him at a young age. This probably reminds him about the sad and bad memories he had in Limerick.

Character Judgment #1: I wonder if Frank would tell the truth about his dad at the funeral because mainly only his mom and brothers know about his the life his dad lead. I think it not okay for Frank to hide his feelings about his father and let them out.

Question #2: What do you think Frank will do at his father's funeral?

Quote #1: True they do get back together but unfortunately they get divorced, so basically it just evens back out again. I think its good that Frank has his own house now, he'll probably do better than the people that gave him somewhere to live.

Question #1: I think he will he probably though is trying as much as he can to not become like his father. I feel bad for Frank's problem with the drink I hope he gets off of the drink.

Quote #2: I think Frank should care about his father I understand what he went through with his father but he cared about Frank before Frank's father got into the drink. I still don't like Frank's father but you should always remember for your fathers compassion for you.

Question #2: I don't think Frank will care much for the funeral. I think Frank will at least show up for it.

Quote #1: I agree with you that this is one of the positive moments that happens to Frank in this book. Overall I think this book is a reflection on all the struggles Frank went through to get where he is today.

Question #1: No I do not think Frank will go back to drinking if he has any more problems. Mainly because hes a smart guy and I think he can learn quite well from his mistakes.

Quote #2: If I was Frank I would also not care if my father died. Because that way he got treated when he was little by his father, by leaving him, his brothers, and his mother. But if I was him I would attend his funeral because he is father.

Question #2: I think Frank would be quiet during the funeral, because remembering about his father could bring back bad memories. If I was Frank I would just say bye one last time.

Quote #1: The quote is significant because it is really cool that a couple brakes up and then gets back together and it was cool how it happened with Frank.

Question #1: I think that he will never drink again because its not like the world is over when you have problems.

Quote #2: I think that he should not care about his dad because he left him when he was little.

Question #2: I think that maybe he will not go to his dad funeral because it will remind him of bad memories and the problems from his past are going to come back to him.

Question #1: No I think Frank will be able to control himself and he will not have a drinking problem.

Quote #2:This quote is sad because it is when Frank's dad died. I think that Frank is hurt by the news but he will be fine because his dad has been bad.

Question #2:I think that Frank will maybe make a speech but I think he will be sad.
