1) Hideo has a strong personality, like when they were in the ammunition factory, he touch one of his dead class mates and covered his face with blood so he wouldn't get caught. He also was brave enough to go back and get his friends, with out going to escape by himself. I think he loves his family very much to go all the way to Seoul walking. I hope he finds his family because he has no one else besides his dad, and maybe he may already be caught. But when Hideo and his friends depart Hideo loved his family enough to pursue by foot.

1. The first thing I would bring would be my lap top in case we get lost.
2. I would bring non-perishable food for our escape.
3. I would bring some canteens of water to survive the trip.
4. I would bring winter clothes in case it got cold over night.
5. I would bring my birth certificat, passport and my I.D.
6. I would bring some cash from my savings account.
7. A flash light with some batteris, to see during the dark.
8. A first Aid kit in case anyone got injured.
9. I will also bring a huntng knife to cut some fruit and other things.\
10. A cell phone to call for help.
3) The most shocking event that i think that happened so far for me was the ammunition factory. How Yasuo got killed in less than 10 seconds. All those Korean communist killed alot of the workers. And how Hideo barely made by dipping his hand in Yasuo's blood and putting on his face. Also when they blew up the factory with all those bead people inside.
most of the workers were captured and it was sad how only 4 people escaped that tradegy. i was confused on how they can kill them that fast with out even thinking twice.

1. I agree that he has a very strong personality, and is very courageous and responsible. He loves his family dearly and can take a lot of hardships.
2. I agree with all of them, and I wish that I brought what you brought. A laptop is a good idea, and also first aid kit is very good.

2.) You have some very good ides that a lot of people didn't think of bringing and thay might be very useful.
3.) I would never be able to kill someone like the communists. It is like they have no emotion. That was a very sad part.

2. i AGREE WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU WOULD NEED ALL THOSE THINGS TO SURVIVE AND ESPECAILY THE KNIF BECAUSE YOU CAN DO ALOT OF THINGS WITH A KNIFE LIKE HERE IS 2 EXAMPLES CUT FRUT AND SELFDEFENSE.
3. ALSO AGREE WITH YOU BECAUSE THAT WAS SAD ON HOW HE HAD TO ESCAPE AND PUT HIS FRIENDS BLOOD ON HIM BECAUSE IF HE DIDNT PUT THE BLOOD ON HIS FACE THEY WOULD OF KILLED HIM FOR SURE.
