1) Quote: Of course you don't. If you don't know the difference between a bath mat and a towel how could you know that's the great Boss Flynn from the Bronx and most powerful man in America next to President Truman.
1) Significance: I think that priest is lying to Frank because I don't believe the second most powerful man in America is riding an elevator and picks his nose. I think Flynn get Frank a job because the priest might convince him to talk to Flynn.
1)Character Judgment: I don't think the priest is a priest or even Irish because he did 't have an accent and he is supposedly from Ireland. Maybe he just says he's a priest to help people trust him like Frank because if I were Frank I would of rather slept on the floor than with the priest.
1) Question: Why is the priest helping Frank if he just met him on the boat to New York?
2) Quote: People say that New York is the city of dreams but when I got here all the dream are gone and not at all what I expected. I never thought to be going around a hotel lobby and picking up after people and scouring toilet bowls in the lavatories.
2) Significance: I think that a lot of immigrants dreams are crushed because so many come over to America thinking that they are going to live a rich life because that's what Frank thought and his job is basically a janitor. Maybe Frank might find a better job.
2) Character judgment: I think that his landlord is kind of cruel because she doesn't Frank have the lights on ever and he can't eat in his room. I think Frank needs a new place to stay but I guess that in that place Frank is in is the only place he can afford.
2) Question: Do all immigrants have the idea that once they get to America they are going to live a rich life by getting a good job?

Quote #1: The quote you chose showed how mean the Priest was to Frank. The priest shouldn't make fun of Frank for using a bath mat to dry himself because Frank just recently came from Ireland and is clueless about America.
Question #1: I think he is actually a preist, but a stupid one. The Priest helped Frank because he was suppose to do that or he wanted to be nice.
Quote #2: The quote you chose proves the saying "Looks can be deciving." Also the quote you chose showed one of the hardships that Frank went through.
Question #2: No because somee immigrants were forced against there will to come to America. Also immigrants come to America to escape the troubles in their home country.
Quote #1)I think the quote chose shows how stupid the priest was. What I means is that Frank has only been in America for only a night so of course he wouldn't know who Flynn is and still I don't even know who Flynn is.
Question #1)I think the priest is trying to redeem his kindness to cancel out the many sin's he has probably done. I think the priest is very arrogant and is probably scared the that the bishops would look down on him and his many sins
Quote #2)I think the quote you chose resides to those that don't have an adequate education for at least a decent job. Frank could have easily made his life easier by going to a night school but I digress as he said it would have been impossible for him to get up in the morning.
Question #2)I think lots of immigrants come to America with dreams to big to imagine. But only some get at least half of what they were thinking of when they start their lives in America.
Quote #1: I Think that this quote is showing how the preist treats Frank. I feel that he is just trying to teach about America.
Question #1: I think the Priest has nothing else to do and he is really lonely. The priest is just being nice.
Quote #2: I like this quote because it describes that America is treating him bad. I also think this quote it very descriptive.
Question #2: I think that they look at America like it will give them a chance to get rich but not to get rich automatically. they know that you have to work hard.
